Welcome to Alpha School! We are a learning community of student-centered forward thinking educators who are committed to helping all children learn. Thank you for taking the time to visit our revamped and updated website. In the past two years we have completed our one-too-one Chromebook initiative as well as created an internet backbone that allows all students to be on our network simultaneously.
Instructionally the district has been making the transition to the workshop model, where teachers individualize instruction based on students’ needs in small groups. Our district has been lucky to form professional partnerships top industry experts like Debbie Diller and Frank Serafini. We are very proud of the learning and growth we see throughout the district!
In addition to technological upgrades the Alpha School District has improved our security and safety equipment and procedures to match what is now considered best practice. Doors are secured and monitored and the staff has been through several trainings. We are prepared.
